How Does It Work?
You choose the package, date and length of day, Salty Summer Soul will set up your experience and return to break it down. New Jersey beaches require a beach badge which must be purchased and worn to access the beach. We will provide you with 2 which will be included in the price of your experience. Any additional badges can be added on for the daily badge price. You must let us know the number of badges needed prior to arriving, as passes will be purchased ahead of time.
In most towns guests over the age of 13 require a daily beach badge.
We will meet you when you arrive to provide you with your daily badges and escort you to your beach setup. At this time we will answer any questions and make sure you are satisfied with everything before leaving you to enjoy your day. We will also try and provide you with an up front parking spot (VIP style).
Where Will You Set Up Our Experience?
We will primarily be providing our service at the beaches in Bradley Beach, Asbury Park, Belmar and Spring Lake. However, we are open to providing your experience on another local beach in the surrounding Monmouth County area. We ask that wherever you choose your setup to be that it has an access ramp. We are unable to get your setup to the beach if there are only stairs. Our hopes are as we grow and get our name out there, we can expand to even more beaches along the Jersey Shore.

Each experience is from 10am - 5pm. Weekdays and weekends available.
A different start or end time can be arranged upon request and availability. and may require a fee. An additional hour can be added for $50.
Your experience begins at 10am. We do give you a 15 minute grace period. However, if you are more than 15 minutes late there will be a $15 charge for every 15 minutes past that grace period. An earlier start time could possibly be arranged - just ask!

The Premium Experience
The perfect beach experience for 2-6 people.
This setup includes 2 beach badges, up to 4 reclining hardwood beach chairs, two beach mat lounges, up to 2 beach umbrellas, outdoor pillows, large beach blanket, 6 towels, sunscreen, lip balm, Bluetooth speaker, handheld fan, portable battery pack and charging cords, waterproof deck of cards, cooler with ice, bottled water and additional drinks of your choice, a personal mini garbage can and other beach essentials. Additional add-ons available.

The Family Experience
The perfect beach experience for 2-4 adults and 2-4 children.
This setup includes 2 beach badges, up to 4 reclining hardwood beach chairs, 2-3 youth size Adirondack chairs, 2 beach lounge mat chairs, up to 2 beach umbrellas, large beach blanket, 6 towels, sunscreen, lip balm, Bluetooth speaker, handheld fan, portable battery pack and charging cords, waterproof deck of cards, cooler with ice, bottled water and juice boxes, sand toys, a personal mini garbage can and other beach essentials. Additional add-ons available.

The Classy Experience
This setup will include 2 hardwood beach chairs, an umbrella, 2 lounge mats, a small side table, beach blanket, 4 towels, small cooler with ice and bottles of water, Bluetooth speaker, personal handheld fan, portable charger and cords, sunscreen, mini garbage can and a few other beach essentials. This experience DOES NOT include beach badges but can be added if needed. Additional add-ons available.

POOLSIDE EXPERience
Includes up to 6 chairs, umbrella and stand, side table, pillows, large beach blanket, 6 towels, 2 Turkish blankets, sunscreen, Bluetooth speaker, portable charging station and cords, small garbage can, and a cooler with ice and non-alcoholic drinks of your choice. Setup as early as 9:00 am and breakdown by sunset. Exact time can be arranged after booking.

What Items Can I Add On to My Experience?

Should I Bring Food and Drinks?
Our experiences provide you with a cooler and water (as well as juice boxes if you book the Family Experience). Feel free to bring any food and non-alcoholic drinks you would like. We do offer snack packages you can add on to your experience
We can provide a local restaurant guide and menus with your experience.
Can I Move My Spot?
We ask that you not move your set up or anything included in the set up such as the chairs, umbrella, blanket, or cooler. The tides change on a daily basis so we make sure to set up your experience in a place where the high tide won’t leave you soaked and sandy. Our higher quality wooden chairs are not meant to sit in the water so we ask that you not move them to sit closer to the water. You are more than welcome to shift any part of your setup within the area we placed it. Another reason we ask you not to move your setup is so we can find it where we originally set it up when we come to break it down.
Can I Leave My Spot?
Absolutely! Feel free to come and go as you please. Even though we are pretty sure you will be spending most of your time in the classiest set up on the beach! If you do head off to explore, please remember Salty Summer Soul is not responsible for any of your personal belongings. We suggest placing them somewhere out of sight and under a towel or blanket before you head out. Please refer to our terms and conditions in regards to client responsibility for missing, damaged, or stolen items belonging to Salty Summer Soul.
The shoreline is a great place to find shells and take a nice stroll so we encourage you to go off and explore.
If you’re wrapping up your day before your scheduled end time, just lower the umbrella and text “checking out” to 732-996-1455.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival: Your experience begins at 10am. We do give you a 15 minute grace period. However, if you are more than 15 minutes late there will be a $15 charge for every 15 minutes past that grace period. An earlier start time could possibly be arranged - just ask! We are unable to make the time later without charging a fee. The reason being is we get there at 8:00am to get a parking spot and a good location on the beach. A later start time will be $15 per 15 minutes past 10am.
Departure: We will return at the end of your experience. Your departure time will be 5:00pm. If you’re wrapping up your day before the 5:00pm end time, just lower the umbrella and text “checking out” to 732-996-1455.
Parking and Beach Access
In New Jersey guests must pay for daily beach access. The purchase of two daily badges will be included in your experience. Most beaches any guest 13 and older requires a beach badge. If you need additional badges they can be purchased ahead of time for you and the cost will be added on to your package. If you are a resident who has already purchased one or your accommodations provide you with a seasonal badge you will not need a daily badge.
As far as parking, I will try my best to arrange it so you can take my parking spot upon your arrival. I typically have the closest spot possible to the avenue your set up is at - another perk of your experience!
Weather
As much as we wish we could control the weather unfortunately Mother Nature has us beat on that one. Please find our full weather policy here.
If Salty Summer Soul decides that significant winds or rain will impact your beach experience we will offer two options. You can reschedule at this time or hold the reservation as a credit for future use.
If YOU choose to cancel due to weather (meaning the forecast is calling for unpleasant beach weather) you can cancel up to 24 hours before and receive a full refund. If you decide to cancel less than 24 hours before your setup time, we will offer you another date or credit for future use.
RAIN: If it starts raining during your experience feel free to leave and find cover after lowering the umbrella! But once your experience has begun, we cannot refund you.
WIND: If the winds are predicted to be 15 MPH or stronger we leave the umbrellas lowered. We ask that you only raise them if the winds die down. Those umbrellas can get quite the lift on windy days and we want to make sure to keep everyone safe.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
Please check out our above weather policy for any cancellations due to weather.
Salty Summer Soul can offer you a full refund if you cancel 48 hours or more before your start time. Meaning if you scheduled your experience for Friday at 10am, then you have until 10am the Wednesday before to cancel and receive a full refund.
If your cancellation is less than 48 hours but before the 24 hour mark you will receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee.
If your cancellation is less than 24 hours we can offer you a reschedule date or a credit for future use.
No refund will be given after the 24 hour mark.

Extra Time
If extra hours are available you can add them on for $50/hr. Text us and let us know at least an hour before your original time is up & we will do our best to accommodate you! Unfortunately, if you contact us less than an hour before your end time we may not be able to add on the extra time.
